History

No Way Theatre was developed in 2017 by Ruby Carlson and Isaac Dean Quick, two working artists in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Both being actors and directors, the co-founders decided to take their experience in teaching high school theatre groups and working professionally into their own hands by creating a company of their own. For over ten years, the co-founders have worked closely in theatre together and are passionate about bringing accessible, interesting, and important theatre to audiences in Minnesota and around the world.

Why just love what you do when you can love the people you work with? The co-founders realized that their ability to build off each other’s ideas and create beautiful theatre that makes you think was something that made their partnership special.

In September 2020, No Way Theatre officially organized as a non-profit organization in the state of Minnesota. You can read more about the non-profit organization and board here.
